In Shoppa you can preconfigure printer settings to be used when printing the various print formats. If you do not specify a printer, Shoppa will print to “Windows default” which is the Windows default printer. If you only have one printer with one tray or source, you do not need to connect a printer.
How to bind a printer
- Click on the I-icon for the desired format. A printer dialog will open
- In the binding list you will find any printer bindings already created
- Click Add to create a new printer binding. The printer binding window will appear
- Select printer. You can bind a local printer or a network printer
- Select the physical paper size you will use for the format
- Select the paper source to be printed from
- Give the printer binding a name. If necessary, check the division line box
- Click Ok. The new printer binding is now in the binding list and will be applied to the selected format
- To change the settings of a printer binding, click on the i-symbol and select Edit
You can reuse printer bindings by clicking the i icon and selecting an existing binding from the drop-down list.
If you do not find your printer in the list, make sure the printer is properly connected and installed and supports the format to be printed.
